The STP Group of Companies is one of the major technology parks manufacturing industrial outputs in the region. The Group unites 7 enterprises which, in turn, incorporate 12 plants and more than 30 production sites employing approximately 2,000 people. The STP enterprises’ outputs stand out for their high quality in the markets of Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan as well as Turkiye – and they sell branded ‘Made in Azerbaijan’.
An STP company has for the first time exported mechanically tooled details and metallic structures to Werden and to Cologne in Germany. We are the biggest manufacturers in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan.
The companies STP POLYMER, SOCAR STP and STP GLOBAL CABLE that feature at the international exhibition Caspian Oil & Gas are members of the STP Group of Companies. The polymer products, the oil and gas pipes (the only miller of pipes with the diameters of 800, 1,000 and 1,200 mm) and the fittings for such pipes are exhibited by STP POLYMER. Cranes, derricks, flanges, separators, high-pressure vessels and other metallic structures and tooled metallic goods are made at the plants of SOCAR STP. As regards STP GLOBAL CABLE, they have three plants: a cable one (cables of different diameters, dimensions and materials), an electrical equipment manufacturing plant (switchboards and power generators) and a hot-dip galvanising plant.
STP’s distinguishing feature is that our plants and companies provide integrated services. The company's production potential is so quite high that there is virtually no alternative to it in the region.
It is gratifying that we have struck up negotiations with numerous companies at this exhibition. We have arranged co-operation with the very diverse companies since the event began. The exhibition, to my mind, is that platform upon which people can see expositions on stands, obtain detailed information about them, exchange contacts and achieve preliminary agreements. I’d like to add that such specialised events help the exhibiting companies do business and develop business.
