Over 2.4 million tons of paint and varnish were produced in Azerbaijan from January through March 2020, which is 2.1 times less compared to the period from January through March 2019, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistics Committee.
Azerbaijan produced 34,800 tons of propylene from January through March 2020, which is 18 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 42,400 tons of ethylene were produced in the country during the reporting period.
Growth was observed during the reporting period in the production of most of the main types of chemical products in Azerbaijan.
