Works on Shahdeniz 2 are being carried out successfully, head of Investments Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Vagif Aliyev said at the meeting with heads of Non-Government Organizations (NGO), APA reports.
According to him, as of April 30, 2016, 9 out of 26 wells have been drilled.
Aliyev noted that total capital expenditures on Shahdeniz 2 in 2014-2020 make $24 billion and $12 billion has already been spent.
