Turkey
The main activity of our company is the implementation of large-scale oil and gas projects, including turnkey offshore platform delivery. We also have a branch and a local company in Azerbaijan. The core focus of İlk İnşaat is the oil and gas sector.
We are the only Turkish company capable of executing the full cycle of offshore platform development—from design to implementation. Engineering is carried out by our in-house team in Malaysia. Procurement is managed through our central office in Istanbul, while construction is performed at designated sites, followed by transportation of the structures to the Caspian Sea basin.
In addition, all marine fleet used in transportation belongs to İlk İnşaat. The largest marine fleet in the Caspian region in Turkmenistan also belongs to our company.
We also have our own development—the Accommodation Work Barge, designed for accommodation and operations, capable of housing 239 people and equipped with a crane with a lifting capacity of 1,600 tons. This is entirely our own design and production. The vessel is certified by Bureau Veritas. We also operate barges for transporting various materials and cargo, as well as vessels for anchoring operations. These form the core of our business.
In addition, we have experience in oil refining, petrochemicals, and energy projects. In Azerbaijan, we worked on the modernization of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery together with Teknomont. The project was implemented with the participation of SOCAR, Teknomont, and our company.
This is our first time participating as an exhibitor at Caspian Oil & Gas. The event turned out to be much larger and more beneficial than we expected. We were visited by both suppliers and investors. We established new contacts with companies and specialists we had not previously known. For example, we met the Canadian company Grand Tenerya. They are considering participation in an exploration project in Cuba related to drilling operations. Our colleagues immediately contacted us and provided the necessary documentation. We already held negotiations this morning.
In addition, we maintain contacts with Türkiye Petrolleri and BP. We have long-standing partnerships with SOCAR and TOTAL. Cooperation with Chinese suppliers has also significantly strengthened at the exhibition, as they showed great interest in our company.
We expect further development of these contacts. Since today we are expecting even more visitors than yesterday, we decided to participate in the exhibition with a larger team.
