I came from Kazakhstan, and I work at S&P Global as a lead analyst in Upstream Intelligence. This is my first time attending the "Caspian Oil & Gas" exhibition in Azerbaijan. Both the city of Baku and the organization of Baku Energy Week leave a very strong impression. I would say this is one of the strongest energy forums not only in the post-Soviet space but perhaps even in Europe. First of all, the participation of major companies is highly pleasing here; secondly, the decent potential of the expo center and the overall level of organization are remarkable. Leading players operating in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are well represented.
We cooperate with international companies such as BP and SOCAR, as well as a number of local companies. Their projects and presentations look very large-scale and ambitious.
I would also like to separately note the participation of companies like TotalEnergies and Turkiye Petrolleri — these are major international players that set a high standard for the entire industry agenda at the exhibition.
