Linzhou Fengbao Pipe Industry is one of the top five biggest manufacturers of seamless steel pipes in China. We run the entire process from iron making to steelmaking to pipe rolling and processing. It is the first time we are represented with a booth at this exhibition. We pay a lot of attention to the Azerbaijan market and we started business with a local buyer last year. At this exhibition, we want to introduce ourselves to more clients here and meet end users. On the first day of the exhibition, it is visited by the head of the country and representatives of government agencies who do a lot to support this exhibition and that helps us a lot, too. The President of Azerbaijan attends some exhibitors’ booths and we feel very glad about it. It is an indicator of the high level of interest taken in this exhibition and positively influences the level of the audience at this event.
Though it is the first day of the exhibition, we have already had some fruitful talks and meetings with potential clients. You can see there are a lot of clients at our booth. It is very important for success at an exhibition. Some of them are from trading companies, some – from logistic companies, and some – from oil companies like SOCAR with whom we have a contract already. Expanding the ties with our local clients is one of the purposes we are here for, and this exhibition is facilitating that. We are also hopeful that our presence here today will bring us more contracts. Regarding the role of this exhibition in reaching our goals, we booked a booth here exactly for the purpose of expanding our clientele in Azerbaijan and this event can help us lay the foundation for accomplishing that in the coming several years.
