The year 2026 has been declared the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Within the framework of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”, the promotion of sustainable urban development, the application of modern architectural approaches, the use of innovative technologies, and the adoption of international experience have been identified as key priorities.
Guided by these strategic priorities, the international exhibitions and forums to be held in Baku in 2026 will be of particular importance in terms of developing the urban environment, modernising infrastructure, and strengthening interaction across various industrial sectors. Throughout the year, Azerbaijan’s capital city will host international exhibitions covering agriculture, food industry, energy, logistics and transport, defence, security, construction, and healthcare. These events will be organised by Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers.
The exhibitions will serve as important platforms for cooperation, exchange of expertise, and business networking for local and international companies, government bodies, and industry professionals alike.
All exhibitions are organised with the support of relevant state institutions and sector-specific authorities.
Spring–Summer Season: An Intensive Exhibition Period in May and June
The 2026 exhibition season will begin in May with several large-scale international events held in parallel.
From 5 to 8 May, Baku Expo Center will host major regional events in the fields of agriculture and food industry:
It should be noted that in 2026 the Caspian Agro exhibition will be held under a new brand — Caspian Agro Week. The organisers believe that this rebranding will give the event fresh momentum and create broader opportunities for networking, cross-sector cooperation, and effective business dialogue for both exhibitors and visitors.
These exhibitions will form a unified platform showcasing the latest technologies and solutions across agriculture, food production and processing, and the HORECA sector.
From 1 to 3 June, one of the most significant and large-scale events of the year - Baku Energy Week will take place in Azerbaijan. Within the framework of Baku Energy Week, international exhibitions and forums covering key areas of the energy sector will be organised. The event serves as an important global platform for dialogue on energy security, energy transition, renewable energy sources, innovations in the oil and gas industry, and sustainable development.
Within Baku Energy Week, the following events will be held:
At the same time as Baku Energy Week, from 1 to 3 June, TransLogistica Caspian — the 23rd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition — will also take place. On 3 June, the TransLogistica Forum will be organised within the exhibition, serving as a professional platform for discussions on international transportation, transit routes, and logistics solutions.
Autumn Season: Exhibitions of Strategic Importance
Being as one of the most authoritative and significant platforms for the defence industry in the region, and a key event showcasing the strength and potential of Azerbaijan’s defence industry complex to the world, the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition - ADEX will be held on 30 September - 2 October at the Baku Expo Centre. Over the years, the exhibition has established itself as a reliable national brand and secured a prominent place in the exhibition calendars of leading global defence industry companies. The exhibition will showcase defence technologies, military equipment, security systems, and related products.
The 15th Anniversary International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment - Securex Caspian will also be organised on the same dates.
From 14 to 16 October, one of the region’s leading industrial platforms in the construction sector — Caspian Construction Week — will be organised. Within its framework, the following exhibitions will be held at one venue:
The autumn exhibition season will conclude with Medinex — the 28th Azerbaijan International Medical Innovations Exhibition, which will be held from 29 to 31 October.
International exhibitions play a vital role in the development of business tourism in Azerbaijan, while also attracting innovative technologies and investments to the country and creating new opportunities.
The arrival of large numbers of business visitors requires highly coordinated operations across all service sectors — including hotels, restaurants, transport companies, and other service providers. As a result, exhibitions generate a multiplier effect, stimulate business activity, contribute to the development of the hospitality and transport sectors, and further strengthen the country’s investment attractiveness.
Thus, the exhibitions organised by Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers position Baku as one of the key centres for international dialogue, technology exchange, and business cooperation across various industries.
