The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has reported about active investments in Shah Deniz Project 2.
At today’s meeting with the country’s civil society SOCAR informed that it has already been invested $12 bn out of the total planned investment of $24 bn in offshore work and work on expansion of the terminal at Sangachal within Shaz Deniz 2.
"The remaining financing will be invested until the end of 2020 and relate to investments in the pipelines for gas from Shah Deniz 2. TANAP alone has already been invested $2.09 bn out of the planned $9.2 bn," the Company emphasized.
Azerbaijani side’s costs in TANAP for the period until 2020 are totally estimated at $6.2 bn.
