On June 1, the 26th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition finished at the Baku Expo Center. The exhibition gathered almost three hundred companies from 34 countries of the world, including Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, the USA, Turkey, and became the main event of the oil and gas industry in the region.
The most important event, as part of Caspian Oil & Gas, was the visit by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his speech addressed to the international community. President Aliyev stressed the great importance of the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition, visited the stands of key players in the industry, and familiarized himself with the largest expositions of domestic and foreign companies.
The main trends of the exhibition were connected not only with the extraction and processing of energy carriers, but also emphasized the global development of the economy, focused on energy security and stability. Exhibitors presented a wide range of equipment, services, innovative technologies in the field of oil production and transportation of energy resources, provision of oil and gas storage systems, platforms and floating drilling rigs, pipe laying and provision of security systems for pipelines, and services. For the first time, the exhibition covers areas such as inspection, work at a great distance from the ground.
The additional programme prepared by the organisers included two new events. For the first time within the framework of the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition, a session called Our People (“Bizimkilər”), which is a new brand of the exhibition partner Caspian Event Organisers (CEO), was organised. The Women in Power event was also recognized as a successful project - about women who have achieved success in the energy sector.
The exhibition was significantly supplemented by the largest industry-specific event, the 26th International Caspian Oil & Gas Conference, which became the main platform for the leaders of not only the oil and gas sector, but related sectors.
In parallel with Caspian Oil & Gas 2019, the Baku Expo Center hosted the 9th Caspian International Power and Alternative Energy Exhibition, Caspian Power 2019. A specialized event in the field of demonstrating the achievements of the energy industry and renewable energy gathered Azerbaijan’s leading energy technology suppliers from Belarus, Russia, Turkey and other countries.
During four days, Caspian Oil & Gas 2019 convincingly proved that it is a recognized international platform and meeting place for leading professionals in the field of oil, gas and energy, where memoranda, agreements and contracts on further cooperation are signed. The Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition has the quality mark of the international exhibition community UFI, World Association of the Exhibition Industry.
The Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Caspian Oil & Gas and Caspian Power are both organised by Iteca Caspian and the ITE Group.
